The idea of ​​a harmoniously space—a garden of earthly joys—permeates the culture of modernism ("there will be a garden city here"). Postmodernism didn't destroy this relentless pursuit of a harmonious world order; it merely blurred the means of achieving it, shifting them from production to services. According to this logic, the work of artists can also be viewed as an offer of services, and this is precisely how—ironically and slightly detachedly—the Cherepanovs create their "Volny Park."

They seem to invite us to look at the ideas of life-building from a distance: it is a field of art, of course, but a playing field, reminiscent of a game of golf; here, victory depends on hitting the right holes (read: galleries, museums, collections). Therefore, one part of the project is a witty narrative of "successes" in the field of art—the "Coach self-motivation" series.

In another section, the artists present videos filmed on CCTV cameras, interspersing everyday life with scenes deliberately staged for the cameras, thus challenging the concepts of reality and documentary.

The most touching and utopian of these works are the "Cherepanov Sets"—boxes containing specially selected objects: their own childhood toys, souvenirs from travels, and objects found on the street, which, according to the artists, can playfully convey the thoughts and emotions of the artists themselves to the viewer.

Artist self-determination in a rapidly changing, harsh, and self-serving world (and this is how it has apparently always been) is a very important and noble task. Moreover, artists are our guides into the realm of the immaterial and the sublime, even if today this is the service industry.
