The project was created for Main project of the Ural Biennial of Contemporary Art in 2019 (curated by Xiaoyu Weng). This six-channel installation uses footage from surveillance cameras in the city of Nizhny Tagil. For this project, a group of volunteers traveled with artists to Nizhny Tagil. Because in Nizhny Tagil around 70 CCTV public cameras with free access. Our group dressed in brightly colored clothing and walked along a designated route under the city's CCTV cameras. A total of six cameras were used. Anna and Vitalii then synchronized the recorded videos so that the group of people moved from one monitor to another. In this way, they had combined six surveillance camera recordings, resulting in an endless looping video where a group of people in brightly colored costumes move like a snake from one monitor to another and orginice the closed cicuit . Ravel's "Bolero" melody was used as the soundtrack—firstly, it signifies looping and infinity, and secondly, it is an link and respect to Ivan Maximov's cartoon "Bolero."
